Great restaurant, found through Google maps and its reviews; better than expected. We were looking for a special place to go after the opera at Mariinsky Theatre and it wrapped up a perfect night. Beautifully decorated, the options and food were incredible, but best of all the staff (maitre specially); something it's not that usual here, they were really willing to help and recomend, and nailed it 100%. Caviar orientated, as you would guess, but still has lots of options in case it's not what you want. The beef tartar, OMG, a must. Great place.

The food and service here are excellent. If you are looking for caviar and want to feel perfectly taken care of, this is the best place in St Petersburg. The caviar selection is deep and the prices are excellent. We had their imperial caviar and it was the best I’ve ever had. We also had starters which were original and delicious. Highly recommended!
It’s our first night in St. Petersburg and we decided that we wanted to try caviar but that it would probably be too expensive. We googled ‘reasonable caviar’ and found Art Caviar on google so took a gamble. It was one of the best dining experiences we have had. It’s half boutique and half restaurant and you can start your meal by having a mini tour of the shop and a brief introduction to how the caviar is produced. We then went back to our table and started with a small portion of caviar to share with some artisan bread and then opted for the 7 course set tasting menu. The food was sensational, only one of the courses not totally to our taste (but we still ate it all!) and the team made some fantastic recommendations for drink matches, including the first Russian wines I have tried. It really was a fantastic meal and the set menu was only £30 each, and we were struggling to fit the final course in! Highly highly recommended.
I really enjoyed this night at art caviar. Me and my wife were looking a place to taste the real russian caviar. And we definitely did it. The caviar was awesome and the guys hosting us even better. If you are looking for a romantic and mesmerizing experience, this is THE PLACE.
Extraordinary dining experience. Service, atmosphere and food are excellent. Staff are knowledgeable and passionate about caviars that they produce. Food with well balanced and complex flavours, complimenting the various caviars on offer. Very reasonably priced. There is a boutique next to the restaurant to learn about the caviars on offer and to bring home any you may fancy. An absolute must when visiting St Petersburg.
